Trevor John Wigmore is facilities and mobilization manager, North America for The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). With an extensive background in construction, Trevor oversees design for operational functionality to ensure the efficient and cost-effective running of the RBS Stamford building, and manages the mobilization of all services and vendors for RBS’ facilities and procurement strategy for North America.
Born near London, he built a 25-year career as a facilities/project manager, working for major national British organizations in the financial services sector – including Midland Bank, where he started in 1980 at the age of 16. A decade later, he joined the property department of RBS, responsible for the London City head office properties; and subsequently was promoted over the next 15 years to various facilities management positions with increasing areas of responsibility. Trevor has successfully navigated the corporate facilities world, amassing skills including controlling and managing large projects and budgets; conducting complex and difficult negotiations; and executing information technology requirements, as well as building strong communication and interpersonal skills.
He and his wife, Amy, reside in Scarsdale, NY, where he enjoys golf and auto sports. Trevor is the father of two boys. He brings to MetroPool a keen interest in reducing vehicle usage and improving mass transit access, availability and ridership. |
