WHAT'S CHANGING?
The new traffic patterns shown on this map
are designed to direct motorists to and from the Stewart B. McKinney Transportation Center along the best routes during the Stamford Train Station Enhancement Program, and
to direct motorists not headed for the station, including
area residents, to routes that avoid the construction.
Signs will be posted at all
times indicating the current traffic directions on one-way
streets. Please follow these signs.
- Atlantic Street between Henry Street
and Manhattan Street, formerly one-way southbound,
opens to two-way traffic for its entire length.
- Manhattan Street between Atlantic
Street and Pacific Street, formerly one-way westbound,
becomes one-way eastbound. Manhattan Street east of
Pacific Street remains a two-way street.
- Pacific Street between Market Street
and Manhattan Street, formerly one-way northbound,
becomes a two-way street.
- Guernsey Avenue will open to two-way
traffic between North State Street and South State
Street.
- Washington Boulevard under the railroad
bridge will be subject to lane reductions and overnight
closures. Follow signs showing alternate routes.
