Nighttime Road Closure Scheduled For Stratford Avenue In Bridgeport Between
Water And Kossuth Streets Beginning Monday, March 31, 2003 Through Friday, April 4, 2003

Stratford
Avenue in Bridgeport is scheduled for closure between Water and
Kossuth Streets between 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. beginning Monday,
March 31, 2003 through Friday, April 4, 2003. This is to facilitate
the demolition of the existing bridge that carries I-95 over Stratford
Avenue. Work will be done, weather permitting.
The
detour is as follows:
Traffic
traveling east on Stratford Avenue will be detoured left onto Water/Housatonic
Avenue. Go right onto East Washington, then right onto Kossuth Street.
Continue straight back to Stratford Avenue.
Traffic
traveling west on Stratford Avenue will be detoured right onto Kossuth
Street. Take a left onto East Washington Avenue, then a left onto Housatonic
Avenue to the end of the detour.
Detour
signs will be posted and local police will be on hand to guide traffic.For
