Southbury, CT- Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that the I-84 Eastbound Exit 14 On-Ramp was re-opened on Sunday, December 8,2002. The ramp had been closed since April 1, 2002 to allow for the replacement of the I-84 Eastbound Bridge over Route 172, and the widening of the shoulder area on I-84 east, between Route 172 and Peter Road.

The $22 million project is expected to be completed in November 2003, and calls for resurfacing along I-84, as well as bridge and other safety improvements.
