Bridgeport, Connecticut - Connecticut Department of Transportation officials are pleased to announce the reopening of the Exit 27 Lafayette Boulevard ramp heading northbound, on or about Monday night, September 20, 2004. This will allow traffic easier access to locations northbound on Lafayette Boulevard from
Exit 27 off of I-95 southbound. Traffic will still have direct access to South Avenue and locations southbound on Lafayette Boulevard via Exit 27.

Motorists traveling on I-95 through Bridgeport should proceed with caution and obey the posted 45-mph speed limit, established in 1997, for the Bridgeport Corridor construction zone, which spans from Exit 24 to Exit 30 northbound and southbound on I-95.
