What
is MetroPool?
MetroPool, Inc. is
a private, non-profit corporation that provides free commuter
services with support from the Connecticut and New York Departments
of Transportation. Founded in 1980, MetroPool also receives
contributions from area companies. MetroPool works directly
with employers, municipalities and commuters in Fairfield
County, Connecticut, and Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam,
Dutchess and Ulster Counties in New York. MetroPool's goal
is to reduce the number of single occupant vehicle trips,
by promoting the use of transportation alternatives such as
carpooling, vanpooling, riding the bus or train, bicycling,
walking and telecommuting.

Ridesharing - carpooling and vanpooling- sharing rides with
other commuters.
It's the SMART way to get to work. And the benefits are many.
Try carpooling...a flexible, comfortable, cost-saving way
