Wednesday, April 21, 2004 (Night)

Greenwich: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 29 to 33, left lane closed, 8:00pm to 6:00am.

Darien/Norwalk: I-95 northbound and southbound, Exits 13 to 15, right lane closed, 10:00pm to 6:00am (NB) and 9:00pm to 6:00am (SB), electrical conduit.

Bridgeport: I-95 northbound and southbound, Exits 23 to 26, right lane closed (NB) and alternating lanes closed (SB), 9:00pm to 6:00am.

Bridgeport: I-95 northbound and southbound, Exits 25 to 26, shoulder closed, 12:00pm to midnight. Other closures:
- Exit 25 Fairfield Ave. on-ramp (I-95 NB)
- Exit 26 Wordin Ave. on-ramp (I-95 SB)

Bridgeport: I-95 northbound, Exits 26 to 27A, left and center lanes closed, 9:00pm to 6:00am, installation of expansion joints.

Milford: I-95 southbound, Exit 40, various lanes closed, 7:00pm to 6:00am, remove temporary barrier curb.

Wallingford: I-91 northbound, Exit 15, right and center lanes closed, 8:00pm to 6:00am. Traffic diverted off Exit 15 across Route 68 and back on via the entrance ramp.


Thursday, April 22, 2004 (Day)

Norwalk/Fairfield: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 33 to 40, various lanes closed, 9:00am to 3:00pm, patching.

Westport/Fairfield: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 42 to 46, left lane closed, 9:30am to 3:00pm, maintenance.

Trumbull: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 51 to 53, left lane closed, 9:30am to 3:00pm, maintenance.

Darien: I-95 southbound, Exit 13, right lane closed, 9:30am to noon, pole installations (luminars).

Bridgeport: I-95 northbound and southbound, Exits 25 to 26, shoulder closed, 12:00pm to midnight. Other closures:
- Exit 25 Fairfield Ave. on-ramp (I-95 NB)
- Exit 26 Wordin Ave. on-ramp (I-95 SB)

New Haven: I-95 southbound, Exits 46 to 45, left lane closed, 9:00am to 3:00pm, maintenance.

North Haven: I-91 northbound and southbound, Exits 1 to 15, various lanes closed, 9:00am to 3:00pm, patching.

Danbury: Route 805 northbound, Federal Rd. 600 ft. south of Nabby Rd., right lane closed, 9:00am to 4:00pm, monitoring wells.

Newtown: Route 6 westbound, Church Hill Rd. near Conner Rd., various lanes closed, 8:00am to 4:00pm, permit job (pavement remediation, signs).

New Fairfield: Route 37 northbound, at intersection of Route 39, various lanes closed, 8:00am to 4:00pm, permit job (drainage installation).


ONGOING PROJECTS & SITUATIONAL NOTES

- CONNECTICUT -

Bridgeport: Local road closures, in association with the I-95 Bridgeport Corridor Reconstruction Project, April 19th through 23rd:
- April 19th to 22nd - Water St., at Main St., closed 7:00am to 12:00am for pier installation (coordinated with Arena events)
- April 23rd - Main St., between North & South Frontage Rds., 7:00am to 4:00pm for steel erection

Bridgeport: I-95 Bridgeport Corridor Reconstruction Project - the following closures will remain in place indefinitely, while the highway is being repaired:
- Northbound Exit 25 on-ramp
- Southbound Exit 26 on-ramp
- Howard Avenue, between Cherry and Pine Streets
**The 45-mph posted speed limit through the Bridgeport construction area, from Exits 23 to 30, will be strictly enforced.

Darien: Nighttime lane closures on I-95 northbound and southbound, involving two lanes between Exits 10 to 13, begin on or about Monday, April 12th and continue through the construction season. Work involves drainage and paving, weather permitting. Lane closures, Monday through Thursday, as follows:
- Northbound - first lane closure from 8:00pm to 6:00am; second adjacent lane closure from 11:00pm to 6:00am (on Thursday, second lane closure begins at 12:00am).
- Southbound - first lane closure from 7:00pm to 6:00am; second adjacent lane closure from 10:00pm to 5:00am (on Thursday, second lane closure begins at 11:00pm).

Watertown: Route 8 northbound, between Exit 37 off-ramp and on-ramp, is restricted to one lane for bridge rehabilitation. Work will take place, weather permitting, and is expected to be completed September 2004. Special note: oversize and overweight vehicles will be required to detour off Rt. 8 NB at Exit 37, Rt. 262. Follow Frost Bridge Rd. to access Rt. 8 NB entrance ramp.

New Milford: portion of Route 7, between Dodd Rd. and Picket District Rd., will be temporarily realigned. Traffic is being laterally shifted to the west, which will allow permanent northbound Route 7 reconstruction. Two 11 ft. lanes and all residential/commercial driveways will be maintained during construction.

Norwalk: I-95 SB, Exits 15 to 14, lane shifts. Traffic traveling in left lane shifted to left; traffic in center and right lanes shifted to right. Also, the on-ramp from West Ave. to I-95 SB is closed for bridge reconstruction of the southbound deck until further notice.

Greenwich: Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) NB and SB, ongoing work including possible lane closures and delays through August 2004. Please check daily lane closings, described above for day and/or night, for specific details when work is scheduled to take place.

Stamford: The existing Stamford Transportation Center Parking Garage reopened on March 1st. Parking spaces are available. For information about obtaining a monthly parking permit contact Propark at 203-327-7998.

Greenwich: Greenwich Railroad Station -
Track 3: construction through August 2004. Access to trains via eight bridge plates located on the west end of the platform footbridge. The stairs coming up from Steamboat Rd. are closed until further notice.
Track 4: construction through July 2004. The platform is closed from the Pedestrian Bridge Overpass eastward. A temporary platform is open.
