New Haven: I-95 northbound, Exits 49 to 52, left lane closed, 9:00pm to 6:00am.


Friday, March 24, 2006 (Day)

Greenwich/Stamford: I-95 northbound and southbound, Exits 4 to 8, alternating lanes closed, 9:30am to 2:30pm.

Stamford: I-95 southbound, Exits 8 to 6, right lane closed, 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

Norwalk/Greenwich: Route 15 southbound, Exits 40 to 31, right lane closed, 9:30am to 2:30pm.

Norwalk: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 36 to 37, various lanes closed, 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Norwalk/Westport: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 40 to 46, alternating lanes closed, 9:30am to 2:30pm.

Fairfield/Trumbull: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 46 to 53, alternating lanes closed, 9:30am to 2:00pm.

North Haven/Wallingford: Route 15 northbound, Exits 63 to 64, right lane closed, 9:00am to 3:30pm.

ONGOING PROJECTS & SITUATIONAL NOTES

- CONNECTICUT -

Bridgeport: I-95 northbound and southbound from Exits 24 to 29; please obey the posted speed limit, 45 miles per hour, as you travel through the I-95 Bridgeport Corridor Reconstruction Project work zone, to ensure your safety and the safety of those working in this area. Local road work, March 23 to 25 (will not interfere with NCAA tournaments at Harbor Yard Arena), and March 27 to 31, from 7:00am to 4:00pm:
- Water Street at Main St., sidewalk, street light installation and general grading

Bethel/Redding/Wilton/Norwalk: Connecticut Light & Power's Bethel-Norwalk Transmission Line Project consists of approximately 30 miles of new and reconstructed 345-kV and 115-kV lines. The majority of the facilities will be sited within existing transmission corridors or public roadways and the construction of these facilities will require the temporary and permanent use of these various areas. NY/NJ/CT Metropolitan Region Launches Multi-Modal, Multi-Agency Traveler Assistance System: Travelers in NY, NJ and CT now have access to a traveler information system providing them with transportation and trip planning assistance. With funding from the U.S. DOT, Trips 123 was developed as a public-private partnership by the NYSDOT, TRANSCOM, and NEC Joint Venture. The Trips 123 system currently offers two free services to provide traffic and transit information to the public - Traveler Information Center and TransitAdvisor.
