Anna-Marie Francello
is an executive director and CPA who started her professinal career
in public accounting with Price Waterhouse and Ernst Young, providing
tax structures and due diligence in the real estate arena. She expanded
her corporate real estate experience by joining Newmark & Company
Real Estate, Inc. as their Operations and Reporting Manager for
the Global Accounts Group. There she provided due diligence and
cost saving stratergies to global accounts and oversaw the lease
of administration team and corporate information management team.
In 2000, Anna-Marie joined UBS as the Americas' Business Unit Controller
for Corporate Real Estate, managing the investment bank's North
and South American corporate real estate financials. After three
year in finance, Anna-Marie joined the Corporate Real Estate and
Administrative Services group and became the Head of Ecology for
the Americas, while also assuming responsibilty for the Corporate
Real Estate Project Financial Control Group. As the Head of Ecology,
Anna-Marie developed a regional environmental management system,
oversaw the Americas' energy efficiencies, implemented a pre-tax
commuter program, and was a critical subject matter expert and participant
in the creation of UBS's Global Climate Change Strategy.
In 2006, Anna-Marie joined the Office of the COO, Americas and
became responsible for leading cross-functional and cross regional
programs, as well as overseeing the Americas' ecology efforts. In
January 2009, in addition to her Regional Head of Ecology role,
she also assumed the role of Regional Head of Travel Services withing
the Corporate Real Estate and Administrative Service team.
Anna-Marie was a member of the MTA Blue Ribbon Sustainability Commission
during the 18-month MTA sustainability strategy developement and
public release. She is a senior member of UNEP FI North American
Task Force and SoundWater's Environmental & Business Committee.
Anna-Marie is a graduate of Skidmore College with a B.S. in Business
and is married with three children.
