The Mission of MetroPool is to develop
and provide transportation services in an environmentally and economically
viable manner that enhances workplace efficiency, supports quality
of life and creates healthy communities. We value ingenuity, integrity
and collaboration when designing, developing and delivering sustainable
transportation solutions for individuals, communities, corporations
and government partners.
MetroPool provides commuter services to employers and commuters with
the support of the New York State Department of Transportation.
Services are available to employers, commuters and travelers in the mid-Hudson Valley and the greater New York Metro area.
MetroPool
encourages the use of transportation alternatives such as carpooling,
vanpooling, public transit, bicycling, walking, compressed
work weeks and telecommuting.
