Allan Page founded A. Page & Associates, LLC, an energy consultancy, in 2002. The management-consulting firm provides advisory and business services to organizations involved with energy development and energy-related issues. It is currently engaged on both a national and international basis in renewable energy project development, energy project licensing/permitting, and bulk power market energy purchase and sales.Â
Prior to founding A. Page & Associates, he spent over 30 years with the CH Energy Group, and held positions in engineering, operations, customer service and executive management. Allan has served on the MetroPool Board since June 1999. Thanks to his consulting and service on many boards, Allan assists MetroPool by sharing his special interest and expertise in board governance and management structures. His undergraduate and graduate work was done at Union College in Schenectady, New York; and he holds a professional engineering license in New York.
Allan is an active community builder in New York’s Hudson Valley. He is a board member and/or volunteer for the United Way of Dutchess County, the Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce, the Hudson Valley Boy Scouts of America, the Dutchess County Science Fair Advisory Council, the World Affairs Council of the Mid-Hudson Valley, and the Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center. He is also one of the founders of the Hudson Renewable Energy Institute for which he serves as chairman of the board; and is a director of Gilman Ciocia, a publicly-traded tax and financial planning firm headquartered in Poughkeepsie |
