Diane Fox has worked for the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut since 1981, and has been the Town Planner since 1995. She has served as a representative to the South West Regional Planning Agency (SWRPA) for the past 15 years. With transportation being an important part of Diane’s day-to-day work, she notes that whatever she “learns through her association with MetroPool can be brought to other parts of her work.”
Diane has worked in Washington, D.C. for the Appalachian Regional Planning Commission and for the City of Chicago as a systems analyst for the planning and development department.
Diane’s expectations in serving on MetroPool’s Board include raising awareness of bi-state transportation issues (jurisdiction and political boundaries), utilizing information gathered from corporate clients in her planning process, and promoting broader use of transportation alternatives. Along with her local knowledge and planning skills, Diane brings her expertise in economic analysis and economic development.
Diane resides in Riverside, Connecticut with her husband and has two grown sons. She is active in several local organizations in Greenwich. |
