Eileen Kopunek is the real estate site operations manager -- Westchester/Rockland Region for IBM, responsible for the operations of its corporate facilities and conference centers in the region.  Eileen joined IBM in 1983 and has held numerous positions throughout her 25-plus year career.

With an extensive involvement in community groups, Eileen served as a board member for the Piermont Community Center (a United Way accredited pre-school) where she held the position of treasurer. She also served as a 14-year active PTA member, holding the offices of secretary, treasurer and president; as well as Girl Scout leader, Little League coordinator, soccer volunteer and numerous other community activities.

Eileen's expectations in serving on the MetroPool board will be to increase the knowledge of IBM's employees and contractors on alternative commuting options.

Eileen and her husband, Michael, are the parents of two grown children and are now enjoying their "empty nest" years in their home in Tappan, NY.
