Marc Pearlin is vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for TAL International Group, Inc. in Purchase, New York.  Marc is also past chairman of MetroPool.  Marc has been an elected board member since 1998 and has contributed to the organization for more than 19 years. 
Marc joined TAL in 1986. Prior to that he served as counsel in the legal department of People’s Bank in Bridgeport, Connecticut.  TAL’s businesses include the leasing of marine cargo containers worldwide, the leasing of chassis in North America, and an international structured finance business (containers, chassis and port equipment). 

Marc’s involvement with MetroPool comes from a longstanding commitment to improving transportation in our area.  As a lawyer and corporate counsel, Marc has valuable experience in contracts, leases, human resources, and general corporate law. 

In addition to serving as a director of MetroPool, Marc is a 1st vice president and director of the Westchester/Fairfield County Chapter of the American Corporate Counsel Association.  An avid tennis player, he and his wife, Nina, reside in Fairfield, Connecticut and have a daughter in college.
