Conn—As progress continues on the Arch Street Construction
Project, Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have
announced that roadway work on Arch Street, including Horseneck
Lane and Railroad Avenue, will begin on or about June 2, 2003 and
is expected to last through October.
Work
to update the traffic signals and install new drainage will be performed
during the daytime hours. No road closures are anticipated and police
will be on site to assist with the smooth flow of traffic through
the area.
The
work will be conducted, weather permitting, and is subject to change
without notice.
Motorists are urged to use extra caution when traveling through
these and all other construction work zones.
