Connecticut - Connecticut Department of Transportation officials
have announced that motorists should anticipate the closure of the
Exit 25 (Commerce Drive) off-ramp from I-95 northbound for a period
of 30 days, beginning Tuesday night, October 14th at 9:00PM. The
off-ramp will be closed to allow for the reconstruction of I-95
in the vicinity of the off-ramp. The ramp closure will remain in
effect for 30 days.
In addition,
the Exit 24 on-ramp to I-95 northbound will be closed Tuesday night,
October 14th from 10:00PM to 5:30AM, in association with the Exit
25 off-ramp closure.
Both
ramp closures will take place, weather permitting, and detours will
be posted. Construction signs, variable message signs and trafficmen
will be in place to assist motorists. Motorists are urged to proceed
with caution and obey the posted speed limits when traveling through
this and all other construction zones.
