Speed Enforcement Scheduled To Commence On I-95 In Darien and Norwalk The Week Of November 25, 2002

Norwalk/Darien, Conn – Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that at their directive, State Police Troopers will begin a speed enforcement campaign on I-95 between Exit 10 and 15, beginning the week of, November 25,2002, and lasting through the upcoming holiday season.
The new posted speed limit through the aforementioned area is 45 mph and motorists are advised to use caution and slow down when approaching this and other construction work zones.
The speed enforcement program is scheduled to be in effect Monday and Wednesday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday evenings on I-95 between Exit 10 and 15. Variable message signs will also be utilized to advise motorists of the new speed restrictions.
