I-95 Paving and Safety and Median Improvement Project
(Darien and Norwalk)
Estimated Completion Date: April 1, 2005
General Project Information:
- the limits of the project are from Exits 10 to 16, on
I-95 northbound and southbound
- the project involves the reconstruction of the bridge decks and
median areas
- improved drainage systems will be constructed
- new concrete barriers will be installed
- project includes the milling and resurfacing of the roadway within
the project limits
- on October 18, 2004 the on-ramp from West Avenue to I-95 southbound
in Norwalk was reopened, after being closed for almost one year
for reconstruction of the southbound deck over West Avenue
